Lakewood Map

So it's finally up.

This is the map of Lakewood Farm.

Everything is numbered, so it should be self explanatory, but feel free to question. Lakewood itself - if you've read my HARPG journal, you will know - is a bit of a project. Its kind of run down and there isn't a whole lot there at the minute. Becca, Austin and Chess will start to get more going on as time goes by, and this map can be updated as necessary.

Here we go:

1 – Four bedroom Farmhouse
2 – Two car garage
3 – Farmhouse garden
4 – Chantry Lane: Towards Creaky Tree or further out to the moorland and canal.
5 – The Drive and entrance to the Courtyard
6 – Vehicle and machinery garage: Harrower, bike, pick-up and flat bed truck
7 – The Barn: Eight loose boxes, tack room, staff den and hay loft
8 – The Farmyard: Chicken coop, goat pens, alpaca stable and unused stalls.
9 – The Stable Yard: Eight loose boxes, feed room, walk way under the overhang, storage space above boxes
10 – 20x40 rubber mixed surface outdoor school
11 – The Square: warm up or general riding
12 – The Temple: 30x60 rubber mixed surface indoor school with upstairs gallery (hay loft conversion).
13 – The Common: Open grass and pond
14 – Maintenance vehicle parking and entrance to Arena via sliding door
15 – The Maze: pathways through a section of the surrounding woods inside the Farm’s boundary. Hidden entrnace to underground bomb shelter by one of the trails.
16 – Hacking routes into the woods
Note: Stables are mucked out directly onto a flat bed truck which is driven to the muck heap just outside the boundary, in the woodland.

a – Wickerwood: Limited turnout or breeding pasture
b – The Orchard: Dam with foal at foot
c, d, e – The Fields: Individual turnout
f – The Cube: Goat pen, also attached to the farmyard
g – Tripod: Alpaca pen, usually.
h – Pocket: Limited Turnout
i – The Vault: Weanling herd turnout
j – The Circle: Recuperation pasture
k, l, m – The Paddocks: individual turnout
n – The Park: Stallions herd turnout
o – Long Meadow: Mares herd turnout
p – The Hive: isolation/quarantine field

I like wacky names, but the only particular one I've used is the Hive - which is the setting of the first Resident Evil movie. Quarantine gone badly wrong.

Done by hand and in photoshop. This has a ton of layers and a couple of hue/sat masks. the linework it's based on I drew on a full A4 page, so this is pretty huge.
