And her feathering is shorter than I usually draw it, since I was experimenting a bit. I think I prefer them longer, but I'm not sure yet.
There's so many shades in her body and since I got it about right on her ref, I just colour pick from it but building up the shades is the time consuming part. Sketched and lined in 20 minutes with a bit of a sketchy feel (I thought). I think her right knee looks spastic, so I'll be fixing that up quickly...but I think her neck's a bit short too, and she's generally a little...something. So maybe this is a time when she was growing out of baby gangliness?
