Peafowl: Pink and pale yellow/gold. Full plume and one failed streak in tail. Two full plumes, two narrow and two failed in mane. Speckling around quarters and sides of head, up to the ears and down the neck.
Discipline: Undecided.
Passable Traits: Peafowl can pass depending on stud. Will always pass Chestnut and lack of agouti. Some aspects of her personality may also pass; TBD.

Personality:  She's growing into a very sweet natured and vivacious filly. She has boundless energy, a keen mind and enjoys playing as well as learning new things. With consistent handling from an early age, she has become very respectful and giving to work with but doesn't hand out her trust or cooperation freely - it has to be earned. She can be very willful, easily posessing the spirit and grit to hold her own if she feels pushed to do something. But she puts her whole heart into the tasks set before her when her handler has earned it. She was weaned in a natural, gradual process with a group which improved her social skills with other horses, and is still figuring out some cues and finding her place in a larger herd. She's finding a nice balance of standing up for herself and yet not being confrontational. There are a variety of animals around Lakewood, and while uncertain with new species, most meetings have been careful and brief, leading to her increasing acceptance and growing confidence. An effort has been made to keep all her interactions with people as rewarding and enjoyable as possible, from leading to lorries. As a result of this she is increasingly attuned to the people around her and happy in their company.
History: She was born in the early hours at Lakewood, in a box in the new barn. Her mother, Helheim, had been boarding at the Farm for the last months of pregnancy and while Heaven was nearly a week early, and small, the birth was smooth for them both. The filly was integrated into life gently; being kept in a separate paddock with her mother, but able to see some of Lakewood's quieter mares over the fence, and she was worked with from a very early age, quickly coming to enjoy the attention. Helheim stayed at Lakewood for nearly a full year, leaving back for her owner's stable when Heaven was weaned at seven months with a couple of boarding youngsters and Mossy acting as a nanny. As a yearling she has a way to go, but has already bonded with the staff, particularly Joanna, and has a bright future.

Artwise: This was originally finished on the 19th of March (and has been in my Stash since then). I found the really nice reference picture and thanks to the lovely lighting, was inspired to do a bit more of a realistic image (though I did alter the set of the head so she's facing you a bit more). I can't remember how long it took, now, but probably a handful of hours. She's greyscale shaded, and I've actually saved a walkthrough of sorts, of how I did this, so that may get posted.

So thrilled I can finally upload her. And there's a bunch more art already stashed and ready to go, so keep your eyes peeled!
